Digital technology – barriers and opportunities
Mike Chitty (NHS Leadership Academy) and James Freed (Health Education England) will explore some of the barriers and opportunities that leaders in health and care need to navigate to promote digital transformation at the UK e-Health Week 2017 at Olympia in London on 4 May. In their session – ‘Killing the ‘digital’ in digital’ – they will consider the transformative change needed in order to work within our financial constraints, support our staff, to ensure we are able to prevent and treat disease comprehensively, and provide care in a safe and user-centric way.
UK e-Health week 2017 is a two day event jointly hosted by HIMSS UK and BCS – the chartered institute for IT – and supported by NHS England and NHS Digital. NHS and public sector colleagues can attend free of charge. To register, go to www.ukehealthweek.com and enter the complimentary ticket code: EHWKLA
