New programme for cardiology leaders

An education programme in cardiology leadership is being launched thanks to a unique partnership between Dr Raj Thakkar (Bucks GP and Oxford AHSN Primary Care Cardiology Lead) and Cardiff University.  Starting in September, it’s for anyone working in cardiology.

The focus is on delivering novel, transformational approaches to improve the care of people living with hypertension, atrial fibrillation or heart failure – from theoretical and patient-based treatment to population-based care. Delivered online, the programme is continually assessed with no exams.
