Simon Stevens, NHS Chief Executive has provoked anger at the RCGP Conference today with his suggestions for the future of general practice.

Suggestions include  in-house GP surgeries at acute hospitals, the development of “expanded group practices’ which employ – or take on as partners – hospital consultants, pharmacists and social care workers.
