Valuing the Difference in the Multicultural NHS – One-Day Workshop on Cultural Awareness and Diversity
Thursday 21 July 2016 at Magdalen Centre, Oxford Science Park.

This one-day workshop explores cultural intelligence (CQ) as well as looking at the impact of culture on language and communication, and how to avoid communications ‘noise’ from unacknowledged cultural difference. You’ll also find out more about your own cultural assumptions and preferred communication style. By the end of this workshop you will have gained practical tools and strategies to optimise individual personal strengths, qualities and skills and enhance team performance.

This workshop is open to all healthcare professionals, including representatives from the Medical and Non-Medical Health Professions, Support Staff and Service Managers from Trusts across Thames Valley.

The cost of this workshop is £25.
