Come and sign up to become a member of Oxford Health. We’ll have six sign-up boxes slotted across the Warneford site.
Everyone who signs up to become a member on Saturday enters a prize draw. We have two £50 high street vouchers to win!
We want the public, patients and carers to have their say in how the local mental health and community health services are developed. As a member you can do just that.
Membership is free
Being a member of Oxford Health doesn’t cost anything.
You have no obligations as a member
Sometimes people say: “I’m already involved in so many things; I can’t join.” But as a member of Oxford Health you don’t need to do anything.
Why join then?
As a member you will stay informed about your local healthcare. We have a monthly e-mail newsletter and organise events for members.
We have such a range of services that at some point of their life almost everyone will have contact with us. We look after babies and parents, teenagers and older people. As a member you’ll have a good understanding of our work and can contribute to how local services are developed.
You can vote in the Council of Governors elections and play a part in the strategic direction of the trust.
You can stand as candidate to become a governor yourself. We have elections every spring.
You can get involved in many ways: as a volunteer, taking part in surveys and coming to our events.
Members are our resource
Most importantly, our members help us discover how best to improve services, making sure that we put patients’ and local communities’ needs first. Our board depends on the membership to keep them in touch with what’s needed in our hospitals and services.
