Nominations for election to Oxford Health’s Council of Governors are now closed, and the Statement of Candidates is now available - see who's put themselves forward! We have 23 candidates for the 13 governor vacancies in this year’s election.

We have had great interest in this year’s election, especially from members of the public in Oxfordshire where we have four vacancies this year. This is testament to local people’s interest in their community health and mental health services.

Thank you to all those who nominated themselves, attended our election events and have supported our election campaign over the past few weeks! Your support helps us improve Oxford Health for the good of the whole community.

What’s next?

A Notice of Poll will be published on Thursday, April 21.

Polls open the following day, Friday, April 22. The election website will open on this day, and voting packs will be despatched to those Trust members who are not on email.

Voting will remain open until the close of election, Friday May 13.

Results will be published on Monday, May 16.

The newly elected governors will then undergo fit and proper check and take part in induction to the role. They will officially take their posts on June 1, 2022.
