Engaging with the Humanities – In Sync

What role do leaders play in achieving and maintaining high performance? How do leaders help teams get in sync and stay there? Take one group of experienced singers; give them a difficult piece of music that they have never sung before, with no assigned team leader; and watch what happens.

Dr Pegram  Harrison and a group of singers will explore how musicians work with each other, acknowledging a conductor’s “lead” but also deploying other mechanisms to get and stay in sync.

The seminar, which is open to all,  will take place on Friday 25 October, 2.00-3.30 at the Said Business School, Oxford.
