GPs vulnerable to work related stress and burnout
A new report from the Society of Occupational Medicine details evidence that UK doctors are at greater risk of work-related stress, burnout and depression and anxiety than the general population. GPs, trainee and junior doctors appear to be particularly vulnerable, experiencing distress and burnout early in their career.
