Multidisciplinary working and training are key to innovative models of general practice

In its analysis of Innovative models of general practice from the UK and other countries, the Kings Fund had identified a number of key design features they believe will be important in designing effective GP services in the future. These includes “workforce development strategies which reflect the need for a multidisciplinary team approach in general practice, …..and providing multidisciplinary approaches to training.”
