Access to other libraries
Other SWIMS libraries
Through the SWIMS agreement OHFT staff may usually access SWIMS libraries for reference, loans and basic enquiries. However you are advised to contact a library before visiting as local access arrangements vary.
To find out more about SWIMS libraries go to HLISD and search for the library. To display a list of libraries in the SWIMS Network select Network on the left, then ‘SWIMS’ in the drop-down list.

Wiltshire and the South West
Library Services for CAMHS staff working in Wiltshire and the South West:
OHFT CAMHS staff working in the South West region, may have walk in access including borrowing books, study space and quick enquiries in accordance with local policies to the following libraries:
Avon and Wiltshire Mental Health Partnership Trust Library Service
Academy Library and Information Service, Great Western Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
Healthcare Library Service
In addition OHFT CAMHS staff in the SW may now return items borrowed from OHFT libraries (and sent to their work base in the South West) to the above libraries who will return the books by post to OHFT libraries.
North Oxfordshire
Library Services for OHFT staff working in North Oxfordshire area:
- Staff may use the Horton General Hospital Library for reference access to books and journals, to access WiFi via OxNet-WLAN and to make use of copying/scanning facilities.. For other services, they should contact OHFT libraries.
- Further library services for all OHFT staff and students are provided by Oxford Health Libraries including loans, document supply, access to online journals via OpenAthens, individually tailored news alerts, literature searching and information skills training.
