Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome Service
We provide a specialist NHS community-based service for people in Oxfordshire with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS).
The service is for adults with moderate to severe ME/CFS as well as for young people over the age of 14. Our team is made up of three therapists with specialist expertise in ME/CFS who hold clinics around the county or in people’s homes.
Confirmation of diagnosis is provided by a highly specialised clinical lead practitioner or the specialist therapists in the team. Young people under the age of 16 will need to have the diagnosis confirmed by a paediatrician.
