If a proof was ever needed, the coronavirus pandemic has proven that our mental health and community health services really are part of the fabric of community in the regions where we work. And now Oxford Health is lead provider for vaccination centres for the NHS in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire West. By becoming a member of the Trust you can show your support AND have a say in our future.
Membership is free and anyone aged 12 and over, living in England and Wales, can join.
We want to engage with people in all the communities we serve: current and former service users and patients, carers and members of the public, particularly in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Swindon, Wiltshire and Bath and North East Somerset, but also in the rest of England and Wales.
As a member you can find out more about our services and plans for the future. You have no obligations as a member, but there are lots of ways to get involved:
- Vote for candidates to be on our Council of Governors
- take part in events for members,
- receive our monthly newsletter Membership Matters
- stand as a Governor of the Trust.
As a member you are also entitled to discounts at local retailers, restaurants, leisure facilities and more. Shopping discounts are provided by the Health Service Discounts, which is a private service and is not operated by the NHS.
Our members help us discover how best to improve services, making sure that we put patients’ and local communities’ needs first. With the range of services Oxford Health provides – community hospitals, mental health services, school nurses, speech and language therapy, health visitors, dentistry, and talking therapy – it is likely that nearly everyone in our region has a stake in the future of the trust.
